HiRes-70(TM)

Actual Image created on the TSC-70

HiRes-70™ is an Image Processing, Editing, and Special Functions / Paint Program all wrapped up in one. It can do more things to a Slow Scan image than you can imagine, and it can do them very fast, while your QSO is going on.

How would you like to be able to receive a picture, and in just seconds, send the picture back to the originating station with his/her image wrapped around a BALL or an HOUR GLASS, and your "Replayed By" <Call Sign> graphic on the image? Sound amazing? It is!.

It is the only program on the market today that can perform the operations described above, and a whole lot more in just seconds, and was designed especially for the TASCO model TSC-70 Scan Converter. With the TASCO's 16 million (24 bit) colors viewable on the SVGA screen, and the "ThumbNails" allowing you to view the small images before they are loaded into the TSC-70, HiRes-70™ is the BEST graphics program you can buy!

Overview of Operation

The MAIN menu provides the ability to remotely control the TASCO TSC-70 Scan Converter from the computer. You can also choose: LOAD image, SAVE image, UPLOAD image, and DOWNLOAD image, to and from the memory. The more than 140 image altering functions are divided between the other four menu choices.

Up to 30 ThumbNail images can be viewed on the VGA screen at one time, with paging for lots more. These images are displayed from your hard drive, rather than computer memory. This eases the file maintenance task.

File types such as: (.BMP), (.SSV), (.HRZ), and 8, 16, and 24 bit (.TGA) files can be loaded and viewed with automatic sizing. Images can be saved in either: (.BMP), (.SSV), or (.TGA) format.

If you have a 24 bit, 16 million, color video adapter card, it is possible to view the TSC-70 image on your SVGA screen. The ThumbNail directory images are always viewed in 256 colors. This allows anyone with a VGA video card to view their directory listing of stored images.
