AM 439 Transmitter

The AM 439 is a 3 watt ATV transmitter for operation at 439.25 MHz. Two audio channels are supported, one is FM of the carrier, the other is FM of a subcarrier. This transmitter is packaged for use in a model airplane or balloon. Additional information on use in a balloon is available here.

  • Output power is 3 watts peak (as measured with a Bird wattmeter)

  • Standard crystal frequency is 439.25 MHz, or 434.0 MHz. Other frequencies are available as options
  • Requires 13.8V DC at 600mA (plus camera power if the optional 10 pin connector is used to power the camera
