  Search the Web:    

If your having troubles connecting to the email server, then check these things:

In Outlook Express:
Go to "tools"
Go to "Accounts"
Go to the "MAIL" tab
You should have One Account listed,
(if you have set up more than one,
you will need to do this check with all of them)
Highlight the mail account: (ie pop.svs.net)
Click on "Properties" on the right.
At the bottom should be your full you@svs.net email address.
Below that should be exactly the same in the "reply to:" line.
Note that the default is blank...if so put your full email address
in there.

Then click on the "Server" tab at the top.
The listings should be:
This is a POP3 server.
The incoming mail server should be: pop.svs.net
The outgoing mail server should be: mail.svs.net
Your account login name should just be your user id.
Your password is hidden...make sure it is small case.
Use Secure Password Auth should not be checked.

Click on the "Connection" tab at the top.
We generally tell people to select "Always use the following"
And then LAN setting. Reason: sometimes Outlook Express tries to take
over your modem when checking mail..which leads to a disconnect if your
browsing with IE.
That should do it!
Remember you can always check your mail with our WEB interface.
